I was born in California and lived in Huntington Beach for most of my life. Retirement brought me and my husband to Prescott, Arizona, where we had often vacationed. We have lived here for 3 years.

I have been exposed to art since I was a child. My mother was a lifelong art student, so our home was always filled with art materials and art work in various stages of development. Throughout my life I have enjoyed art as my hobby. Now, in retirement, I have the time to devote to fulfilling my wish to become a working artist.

Most of my artwork has been done in acrylics. Currently, I have been busy with projects for friends and family. Often inspiration comes from seeing a need to fill a space; then a theme and color scheme is worked out to convey the mood of the project or painting.

I do enjoy creating large pieces and so painting on walls seems to be a natural consequence.
